If you know anything about me, you know that I have a shoe problem that Mr. Foy desperately wishes I didn’t. When we built our house I had to make sure that my closet would be able to handle my shoe addiction. No good outfit can be complete without the perfect shoe. Also, being pregnant right now, the only thing that I can guarantee fits from one day to the next is my shoes. So here are my favorite shoes and how I like to wear them!
Hiker boots have been my go to in this cold weather. With this pregnancy, I’m finding myself gravitating to hiker boots more frequently because they are not only comfortable, but typically go best with comfortable pieces and outfits. These brown hiker boots have an amazingly comfortable lining and I love being able to wear them with leggings or jeans and a vest, such a good go to combo!
Booties, literally every kind you can think of I love and own. The nice thing about booties is that they are so versatile. I can wear them with some amazing jeans and a cotton t-shirt or I can dress them up for a night out with friends. They come in such a wide array of colors, but most importantly styles. If I had to narrow down my favorites they would be embroidered, peep toe, and any with cool cut outs.
Lastly, boots, you know the traditional right under the knee kind. I am obsessed with these! I literally can’t get enough of the taller boots because I can wear them with everything. Most people are more traditional and love this style with jeans or leggings, which I also love, but my favorite thing to wear taller boots with are skirts and dresses! Showing just the knee in between the top of the boot and the bottom hem of the skirt or dress is so sophisticated and even a little sexy. The icing on the cake is when you can get a great quality boot in a stunning color, like these burgundy ones!
